From Shadows Of Loss To Dreams Of Justice: Story Of Ayaan

In the quiet corners of our city, whispers of silent struggles echo. Untold stories, burdened hearts and dreams dimmed by hardship exist.

There are many heroes who are unsung, many stories that are unheard, and many emotions that are unexplained. Such are the stories that make their way to the Shaagird Foundation. They find their stage at Sunrise Public School, and put smiles that go miles.

One of such stories is the story of Ayaan, a story that touches hearts and speaks volumes. Ayaan is  a 13-year-old lad who takes the platform of  Sunrise Public School and narrates an inspirational tale.

His Father, Jamal Uddin, lost his life in a slight moment of heat. He  was killed by the ruthless violence during Delhi Pogrom 2020. He was heavily injured by the mob and ultimately broke his will to fight.

In this moment of despair, Ayaan found his goal in life—his dream of becoming a police officer and stopping injustice.

His unwavering determination to conquer the castle of dreams took his feet to the threshold of Sunrise Public School. It is an initiative of the Shagird Foundation to help children access education despite life’s challenges.

Sunrise Public School acts as a bridge to fill the void in the lives of heart wretched kids. It uses education, the most powerful weapon to bring happiness into lives.

With a ripped heart and innocent eyes, Ayaan stitches his life with the love of his alma mater. With a mind full of desire to learn and a soul full of dreams, he studies at his school to achieve his dreams.

Ayaan is a student of standard 3 with stars added next to his name; he achieves one of the highest marks in his class. Scoring marks in Science has been his cup of tea. He is sincere enough to help his siblings in completing their homework. In his free time he loves to play with them. And when needed, acts like an elder brother.

He studies under the beautiful roof of his school and learns how to speak English. He loves to solve Math problems and finds Hindi a piece of cake. Apart from attending classes, he participates in extracurricular activities at his school. Doing this helps him in learning the practicality of life.

He is a keen observer with a sharp memory and never fails to make her favourite teacher, Ms. Farah, proud of him. With the help of his school teachers, he develops his personality and uplifts his skills with each passing day.

Ayaan is ecstatic and hopeful of becoming what he wants. The Shaagird Foundation wishes him luck in his future endeavours.
